Ghazni Rug Collection is a compilation of timeless and rich designs by Momeni Rugs. Each rug is a masterpiece. These rugs are inspired by age-old Oriental rugs like Kazak, Heriz, and Serpai rugs. They are luxurious pieces of art carrying careful amalgamation of conventional brilliant tones weaved artistically into the most multifarious designs that can satisfy the finest taste.

Material

All the rugs in Ghazni Collection are made of polypropylene. That is why they are stain resistant. Also, the longevity of these rugs is also due to the heat set polypropylene. These rugs are a replication of ageless traditional rugs which are available at an unimaginable price as they are weaved in synthetic material instead of expensive natural fibers.

Heat set polypropylene makes these rugs durable and colorfast. They are also less prone to external factors like moths and mildew. This synthetic material not only makes them affordable but also easier to take care of. They do not necessarily need professional care like rugs made from wool. Moreover, it makes these rugs non-shedding which means low maintenance.

Weaving and Texture

The rugs have a high pile of traditional wool rugs. The soft and lush pile owes to the lustrous heat set polypropylene. The supple texture is resilient and has luxuriant consistency. The complex designs and various elements in these rugs have employed the weaving experts in them.

Colors

The colors used in Ghazni Collection are all traditional reds, blue and earthy tones of rust with hints of a few other colors here and there. The vibrant colors are all inspired by the hand dyed natural wool used to weave traditional rugs. Different tones of the same color add to the depth of the complex designs of these rugs. The time-honored bright red and blue make these rugs a beautiful accessory to add class to your décor.

Designs

Each rug in Ghazni Collection is an expression of art and excellence. Every individual piece in this collection is inspired by centuries-old Oriental rugs from different regions of Asia and around. Like the traditional Heriz rugs each carpet has three distinctive stripes as the border. A wide stripe with floral vine is enclosed on either side in two relatively narrower columns with flowers weaved in them.

The first Blue rug in Ghazni Collection is an imitation of traditional Kazak rugs from Armenian and Caucasian Weavers. The crowded designs include geometric patterns, dramatic medallions combined with floral elements in between. The main field has numerous borders of varying widths complementing the color combination in the main field. There is one main wide border with motifs weaved in it and is enclosed in further five borders on either side.

The Red rug is a beautiful fusion of Persian Heriz Serpai rugs and Kazak rugs. The angular design and geometric motifs come together to make this classy rug. the main field has lateral octagons with graphic latch hooks around it. This main area is fenced with multi-layers of borders all around it.  Also, the border consists of a broad patch surrounded by narrower frame filled with floral trellis and then plain perimeters around it.

Another bright Red rug also features Heriz Serpai elements in it. Three main polygons with spikes occupy the main area with columns of flowers of various sizes and types. The main border features bird-like structure in it. This wide border is sandwiched in floral borders on each side. The blue and earthy borders make the brilliant red main field more prominent.
