The winners of the Carpet Design Awards for 2019 have been announced at DOMOTEX in Hannover.
The awards are bestowed on outstanding products in eight categories. A total of 24 finalists, three from each category, were picked out from a total of 233 products submitted from 15 countries. For each of the award’s eight categories, the jury has selected three exclusive creations which they believe stand out from the rest in terms of design, quality, and craftsmanship.

The Carpet Design Awards are staged in cooperation with the trade journals HALI and COVER, which January 2019 will be their fourteenth anniversary.
Also during DOMOTEX, all 24 of the shortlisted carpets were on display at the “Framing Trends” showcase in Hall 9, and visitors were able to vote for their favorites. The carpet that received the most votes presented with the “Best Liked by DOMOTEX Visitors” prize at the close of the show.
