Our donations and contribution
Here at Rugman we believe in helping those in need, we believe in building a better community through donating to respected charities to support their causes.
We contribute through various channels; one being the fair trader of these magnificent rugs. One of our goals here at Rug man is supporting the families that produce these beautiful masterpieces. We are connected to weavers directly buying their rugs. When buying from the source with no middle man, all the families that are involved in weaving these rugs get what they truly deserve for their hard work. Generally More than 12 families benefit from fair trading one rug. This includes people who hand spun the wool, the ones who dye them naturally and the ones who hand knot these rugs over long periods of time. We practice fair trade, when buying these rugs, benefiting the weavers in their origin country and our customers on the other side of the world. That’s one of the ways we give to these deserving families.
We also support numerous children charities through the world, from Iran, India, and Pakistan to the well-known North American charities
Beside the mentioned facts above, we continuously support the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, we help rebuild New Orleans, we annually contribute to St Mary’s school fundraising event and we gift Persian carpets in the name of higher learning and education.
